About Gregory Morgan
Greg Morgan is a life long music student. He started singing in church in the children's choir when he was just four years old. He later began taking formal piano lessons at the age of eight and later became the church pianist when he was fourteen years old. That same year he studied classical piano at the Birmingham Southern University Conservatory.
Greg especially loves to accompany singers and instrumentalists. He has played the piano at beauty pageants, recitals, weddings, funerals, and more.
Greg has also written music. He wrote the school song for the elementary school he used to teach at in Cobb County. He has written Christmas music for his church choir, and other songs as well.
Teaching one-to-one is Greg's favorite way to teach. That is why he enjoys teaching piano lessons so much. He feel that more is accomplished in the personal time he spends with students.
Greg has studied the saxophone (tenor and alto) cello, violin, percussion (especially the xylophone, tympani, and hand bells) and the organ. He love music of all genres, especially show tunes, jazz, classical, pop, rock and roll, and Gospel.
He looks forward to helping his future Lessons In Your Home piano students.
