Fernando began studying piano when he was just four years old. Since then, he has earned a Bachelor of Music in solo piano performance from The Juilliard School in New York, a Master of Music in chamber music and art song performance from Mozarteum University in Salzburg, Austria, and a Doctor of Musical Arts from University of Miami.
Fernando has been heard in concert all over the United States, Mexico, Germany, Austria, and Australia, both as a soloist and a collaborative artist. An avid teacher, he has ample experience with students at all levels of proficiency. Fernando is also a vocal coach for opera singers, with a special affinity for the art song repertoire.
Fernando has dedicated his life to music, and instills his passion for it in his students, as well as a sense of community through collaboration with other musicians and appreciation of other art forms.
