About Faith Kirkpatrick
Faith Kirkpatrick was born Marietta, Georgia and grew up in Powder Springs, Georgia. Faith's interest in music really began at around age nine after watching her older brother start to learn an instrument. Faith soon began playing the clarinet and has loved the instrument and music ever since.
In high school, Faith was accepted to the Hillgrove Wind Symphony and also the Hillgrove Symphony orchestra. In 2016 Faith traveled with Hillgrove Wind Symphony to China where she performed in Beijing, Hangzhou, Xuhui, and Shanghai. In 2017 she performed at Carnegie Hall with the Hillgrove Symphony Orchestra
Faith has earned a position in the district honor symphony in 2016, district honor band consecutively for six years, the All State band for five years, and was fortunate enough to earn a position in the National Honor band in 2016. Not to mention having the opportunity to play with the Army Field Band at Music for All's 2016 Summer Symposium. This past year Faith received the John Philip Sousa Band Award for outstanding musicianship, dependability, loyalty, and cooperation.
Faith is currently attending Kennesaw State University where she is a music education major. In addition she enjoys teaching private lessons on Clarinet and Saxophone.
