About Elise Bowles

Elise Bowles is a Kansas City-based musical theatre performer, vocalist, and dedicated teacher of piano and voice. She recently earned her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre from the Dobbins Conservatory at Southeast Missouri State University.

Elise’s musical background includes childhood training in voice, piano and brass instruments, which evolved into a collegiate focus on classical and musical theatre vocal performance and live theatre. During her studies, she also explored jazz, pop, and opera. Her passion for education began at the Southeast Music Academy, where she taught private piano and voice lessons. Currently, she teaches classes at The Coterie and Theatre in the Park, and she holds a substitute teaching license in Kansas.

As a professional actor in the Kansas City area, Elise has performed at venues such as The Coterie and The White Theatre at The J. she also works with the Blue Curtain Project, a touring program that brings musical performances directly to local schools. She is deeply passionate about Theatre for Young Audiences.

Her deep passion for Music Education drives her to inspire young artists, sharing with them the joy of music and the experience of being a musician! She is committed to inspiring the next generation of artists through high-quality music education.
