About Duel Shape

Duel Shape is a recent graduate from South Dakota State University. He is primarily a vocalist, guitar player, bass guitar player, piano player, and percussionist. Duel is an active performer in the Denver Metro area and performs as a front man for a band called Dirty Side Down. He is very active with his performing and very much enjoys perfecting his craft as an entertainer.

Duel is also very passionate about music and enjoys giving his students a musical gift they can use for the rest of their lives. He has given private music lessons for a few years in his teaching career as well as teaching K-12 music in his student teaching experience. Duel has also had the privilege of being the student conductor of The South Dakota State University Statesmen, the collegiate men's choir on campus, and taught a women's choir at New Elm Spring Colony. Another notable musical experience was joining The Pride of the Dakotas Marching band for a "guitar hero" performance for half time at football games. Duel's hobbies include exercise, great movies, and good food!
