    About Cody Rone

    Cody Rone is an experienced and enthusiastic music educator specializing in brass and piano. Despite earning a Master's degree in History in 2020 from the University of Texas at Arlington, he has actually spent over a decade teaching high school music, having started in 2013 working with Marcus High School, as well as the Guyer High School Band starting in 2022. With these programs, Cody teaches brass and marching band in settings ranging from private lessons all the way to full band rehearsals of up to 300 students.

    Cody has been playing euphonium since 2006, performing locally and across the country. He has performed at the Midwest Clinic with the Marcus High School Wind Symphony in 2012 and the Carrollton Wind Symphony in 2018. During his years with these groups, Marcus High School has been awarded both the Sudler Flag of Honor and the Sudler Shield and the Carrollton Wind Symphony received the Sudler Silver Scroll.

    Along with his extensive experience as a euphonium player, Cody has developed a musical passion for the piano since he started in 2014. Having taught piano lessons since 2019, Cody has also has found a love for piano teaching.

    Whether a student is just starting their musical career, trying a new instrument, or even wants help developing into a more advanced musician, Cody is excited to be a part of their musical journey.
