    About Clay Rogers

Clay Rodgers hails from Kennesaw, GA and is currently based out of Acworth. Primarily a double bass player, Clay also has proficiency in the other string instruments including the viola, violin, and cello. Clay started his musical journey in middle school when he and a friend and wanted to duet The Final Countdown on violin. Years later, Clay is a committed double bassist who went on to major in music education at Kennesaw State University and studied under Joseph McFadden and Karl Fenner of the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra. As a bass player, Clay has performed in multiple youth groups, multiple church events, played on professional stages in various states, performed solo concerts, and have performed in the pit orchestras for a few musicals such as My Fair Lady, The Little Mermaid, and Hairspray. Clay enjoys applying his knowledge from school and his performance experience to create a fun, informative, and engaging environment for his students to grow as musicians in their lessons each week. Outside of music and teaching, Clay often finds himself in the kitchen or enjoying time outside in nature.
