Music has been a part of Christina’s life for as long as she can remember. She grew up listening to classical LPs with her dad and learning piano alongside her mom—experiences that sparked a lifelong love of music and laid the foundation for a deep musical journey. Christina has nearly 50 years of experience as a violinist, and also plays viola and piano. Whether performing or teaching, she finds joy and inspiration in sharing music with others and helping students discover their own unique path in music.
Over the years, Christina has performed in a wide variety of musical settings, including chamber music, such as duets, trios, and string quartets; pit orchestras for theatrical productions; chamber orchestra with choir (as Concertmaster for Handel’s Messiah in 2016), and full symphony orchestra productions. The most memorable highlights of her musical career include performing with over 350 musicians in the Central Florida Community Arts Symphony Orchestra—a truly powerful and unforgettable experience. These diverse opportunities have not only sharpened her skills but also deepened her appreciation for the sense of connection and collaboration that music brings.
As a teacher, Christina brings warmth, patience, and a strong commitment to helping each student thrive. She offers private lessons in violin, viola, and beginning piano, and works with students of all ages and skill levels. Whether a student is brand new to music, continuing to improve their craft through lessons, or returning after time away, Christina meets them where they are, creating a supportive and encouraging environment to help them build both confidence and ability.
Christina believes that every student possesses unique gifts, and it’s a teacher’s role to help discover and nurture those gifts—no matter where a student is in their journey. She recognizes that progress looks different for everyone, and that sometimes the most meaningful breakthroughs come not from perfect practice, but from creating a safe, encouraging space where students feel truly valued and heard. Christina sees great lessons as those that foster connection, spark joy, and support growth at any stage. Her approach is rooted in compassion, creativity, and the belief that music has the power to uplift and inspire at every step of the way.
