About Caroline Baker
Caroline is a professional musician who received her B.M. from the Eastman School of Music, one of the highest rated music schools in the country. As a Colorado native, Caroline grew up with an innate love for music. She took piano lessons for years and loved music so much she took up the trumpet and horn. In high school, Caroline made the horn her main focus, and was named the Principal Horn of the Denver Young Artists Orchestra as well as the Colorado All-State Band and Colorado All-State Orchestra. She competed in solo competitions and was the winner of the Denver Concert Band Concerto Competition and a finalist in the Arapahoe Philharmonic Concerto Competition.
During her time at Eastman, Caroline taught horn, trumpet, and piano to students at the University of Rochester. She was taught effective methods to give her students a great start in music. As a performer at the Eastman School, Caroline was the Principal Horn of the Eastman Harmonie Ensemble on their 2016 European Tour. She has also played professionally with the Finger Lakes Opera Orchestra as second horn and the Greece Symphony Orchestra. During her summers, Caroline has participated in prestigious music festivals including the Schloss Hundisburg Musik Akademie in Germany, The Pacific Region International Summer Music festival in Vancouver, and the International Horn Society in Tennessee.
Caroline is currently living in Denver to hone her skills and pursue her passion for teaching. She is performing with churches and orchestras in Littleton and looking forward to spending more time in her native Colorado.
