Bethany is a dedicated music educator who’s passionate about helping students grow and reach their full potential through music. Originally from Mobile, Alabama, she earned her degree in Music Education from the University of South Alabama, where she studied with Jodi Wood. In 2024, she completed her Master’s in Horn Performance at Western Michigan University, working closely with Lin Baird and serving as a Graduate Assistant for both the Horn Studio and the Bronco Marching Band.
Now based in the Metro-Atlanta area, Bethany has experience teaching elementary school music in DeKalb County and is currently focused on working with students in private lessons. She specializes in high brass instruments, especially horn, but also enjoys teaching piano and other instruments.
Bethany brings a thoughtful and encouraging approach to her teaching, always aiming to meet students where they are and help them build skills at their own pace. She also enjoys exploring and sharing new music by a variety of composers, and outside of music, she loves spending time with her pets and doing crafts.
