Aurel is a Seattle-raised and based music producer and piano teacher. He specializes in teaching piano and music production, driven by a profound love for music and its transformative power. Aurel discovered his passion for musical instruments later in life, during his college years. As he delved deeper into the world of music, he found himself drawn to the piano's expressive potential and its central role in music production and composition.
Throughout college, Aurel immersed himself in studying music theory and composition, exploring the intricacies of musical structure and expression. He honed his skills in creating and arranging music, laying the foundation for his future endeavors in music education and production. Later after college, he attended private music production courses, notably with Hyperbits' Masterclass. With his background in IT, Aurel swiftly grasped concepts such as parallel processing, serial compression, and mastering techniques to elevate his tracks to a commercial quality level. As an alumni of the Hyperbits Masterclass Music Production School, Aurel seamlessly integrated his technical expertise with his musical aspirations, immersing himself in the intricacies of music production and leveraging technology to craft polished, professional-grade tracks. Aurel's journey as a musician has also included participating in open mics for live performance, where he discovered the joy of sharing music with others in a live setting.
As a music educator, Aurel is committed to inspiring and empowering students of all ages and skill levels. He loves Tchaikovsky and Rachmaninoff as well as present day commercial artists and their releases including ScaryPoolParty and Colbie Caillat, and wants his students to be able to play anything they set their hearts too, whether classical or modern. He believes in individualized instruction tailored to each student's motivations and potential, fostering a supportive and enriching learning environment. Aurel's teaching philosophy centers around cultivating creativity, self-expression, and a lifelong love for music. He is excited to work with students in the Seattle area, sharing his passion for music and guiding them on their own musical journeys.
