Anna McClung's passion is for all things music and it's been that way since she started singing at age 7. Currently Anna studies Music at Houston Baptist University where she is pursuing a bachelor's degree in Music Education specializing in voice.
As a voice and piano teacher Anna has a love for teaching beginners the joy of music and training experienced musicians refined skills. Her lessons have goals which include giving students a strong foundation on their instrument and helping each student obtain the love for music. She does this with a positive teaching approach that focus's on positive feedback within each lesson.
Her musical involvements over the years include various choirs and competitions including TMEA and TPSMEA region and state choirs, a soloist performance for the 2016 TPSMEA all-state choir, semi-finalist placement in TEXOMA National Association for Teachers of Singing (NATS) 2016, 2nd place finalist of Greater Houston NATS 2017, semi-finalist Greater Houston NATS 2018, and she is currently a member of HBU's Schola Cantorum where she has toured as a soloist during the Spring 2018 Schola Cantorum Tour. Additionally, she has collaborated with the Houston Civic Symphony during her choral activities.
