About Anna Beylakh
Music Educator, Pianist, Conductor, Accompanist, and Vocal Coach, Anna has a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance, with over 15 years of teaching experience. She was born and raised in Taganrog, in the south of Russia. Her love for music began with piano at the age of 5 years when she attended a musical school named after a famous Russian composer: Peter Tchaikovsky. During her college years in Taganrog College, Anna studied several musical subjects such as piano performance, technique, music theory, and composition. Although Anna was raised in training to become a classical pianist and performer, she never stopped exploring music in different styles. Anna also performed pop and jazz with various music bands as a keyboard player and a singer, participating in concerts all over the country. Anna is able to teach different styles of piano and voice, music theory, composition, improvisation, and music reading. Ear training is also enforced, where students will be able to compose and play by listening to different music. After relocating to the United States, she continued teaching, including her own 4 children, who successfully participate in recitals and talent shows. Anna treats each of her young students as her own children; she tries to understand their needs and interests. She also understands the challenges associated with learning music and encourages patience along with perseverance, and strives to make music learning fun. Her primary goal as an educator is to fuel her students' musical interest and knowledge, empower their creative thinking and performing abilities, and expand their access to the joy and wonders of music. Anna's goal for every one of her students is that they achieve their musical dreams, just as she did.
