Raised in Monroe, Louisiana and relocated to Dallas, TX to pursue an education in music, Addison Neill is a guitarist, pianist, songwriter, and composer who has studied classical, jazz, and flamenco styles at university and earned a BA degree in sound engineering.
Addison is now pursuing a career in teaching and performing live in various projects. Addison's goal is to help students experience the joy and life enrichment of expressing themselves through music, with an emphasis on creativity and personal growth to help students become better musicians, and performers, whether as professionals or hobbyists.
He loves teaching all ages and levels and lesson plans are custom made to each student's unique interests. No two students are the same; therefore, it's important to create unique lesson plans for each individual student based on their particular situation and interests. By using a "start where you are" approach, he is able to build on an individual's strengths and curiosity, while filling in the gaps to help each student grow into their own full potential.
Outside of music Addison enjoys cooking, gardening, traveling, and working on art.
