About Siobhan Cronin
Siobhán Cronin, classically trained violinist, performs regularly with nationally recognized artists and touring shows including Trans-Siberian Orchestra, Michael Bublé, Live and Let Die, and Earth Wind & Fire. Over the past 5 years, she has played alongside Katharine McPhee, Sarah McLachlan, Bobby Vinton, Rod Stewart, Il Volo, and many others. She recently performed with five-time Tony Awardwinning singer and actor, Audra McDonald, as well as Grammy winning American classical pianist, Emanuel Ax.
Ms. Cronin has performed with a number of orchestras, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra, where she served as mentor and principal violist of the Civic Orchestra, as well as the Michigan Philharmonic, where she served as assistant concertmaster. In the 2013-2014 season, she served as principal violist of the University of Michigan Symphony Orchestra. Ms. Cronin actively performs with the Miami Symphony Orchestra and serves as concertmaster of the Miami Chamber Orchestra.
Ms. Cronin is also an active soloist and chamber musician, and has performed in concerts and recitals throughout the United States and Europe.
Ms. Cronin received her undergraduate degrees in Violin Performance and Economics at the University of Michigan where she also completed her Masters Degree as a recipient of one of the University of Michigan's Graduate Fellowships in Violin and Viola Performance.
