About Joseph Taczak
Joseph Taczak, a recent graduate of Malone University, is passionate about music and singing. From an early age, Joseph sang anything and everything: from the songs on Sesame Street to Disney classics to the popular songs from the 50s and 60s.
He received a Bachelor of Science in music education with an emphasis on voice and choral singing. In college, he performed in various choirs that traveled to close locations within the Midwest to farther places such as Europe and Jamaica.
Joseph took voice lessons for over 15 years studying under some inspiring teachers: Barry Busse,Dr. Jerry Giger, Dr. Raymond Feener,Cynthia Wohlschlager, and Shirley Close. He also has performed with Opera Cleveland, The Tuscarawas Philharmonic Orchestra, and the Florida State Opera, including shows such as Mozart's Don Giovanni, Donizetti's Lucia di Lammermoor and L'Elisir D'Amore, Mendelssohn's Elijah and Handel's Messiah.
Joseph believes that the voice is a precious instrument and singers should be aware of that instrument at all times. Additionally, Joseph believes that music isn't just a hobby it's an extension of a fruitful life and thus, music needs to be procured by inspirational teachers.
