About Erin Wagoner
Erin Wagoner is a graduate of Rollins College with a B.A. in Vocal Performance. Though voice is her primary instrument, Erin has been playing piano, guitar, and ukulele for years as well. An aspiring singer-songwriter, Erin is currently recording her first album at Phat Planet studios in Orlando, though she has quietly been performing her songs around town for the past 10 years.
Erin is familiar with a wide range of musical styles and genres. She has a solid background in music theory as well and enjoys weaving this knowledge into aspects of "modern" pop, rock, and jazz music as well as classical, as she teaches students. Erin is comfortable teaching all ages and will gladly create an effective learning environment for students, regardless of age, gender, or previous musical experience. Every student is unique!
An actress as well, Erin frequently participates in theatre, musical theatre, and standup comedy performances. She is a regular actor at Sleuth's Mystery Dinner Theatre, and has worked with the Breakthrough Theatre of Winter Park and Theatre Downtown. Erin is also scheduled to appear in the current season of productions for Beth Marshall Presents.
Erin believes one of the greatest tools you can give a student is the knowledge and desire to explore and grow on their own. One of the reasons Erin has been successful as a performer and musician is due to her passion for continuing to learn more about music and the arts. This passion drives her to continue honing her skills even as a working professional. She intends to pass this knowledge and experience on to her students, striving to give them the motivation to continue to learn.
